Hello, my name is Ariel and I'm the founder of this website. I have made this site to show that kids and teens with diabetes don't have to feel like they're "outsiders". Since I have diabetes too I have at times felt like an "outsider". But in my household my mom has taught me that diabetes is what you make of it. And since she has had diabetes for 32 years with no problems or complications, I realized that diabetes is not the end of the world. But I also realized that not every kid feels the same way about diabetes like I do. So I have made this web site to show kids how diabetes can be positive and not that bad.
You have diabetes not because something is wrong with you, but because you are strong enough to handle it.
