Hello!! My name is Ariel and I'm the founder of www.diabetesrocks.com. I have made this website to show that kids and teens with diabetes don't have to feel like they're "outsiders". Since I have diabetes too I have at times felt like an "outsider". But in my household my mom has taught me that diabetes is what you make of it. And since she has had diabetes for 31 years with no problems or complications, I realized that diabetes is not the end of the world. But I also realized that not every kid feels the same way about diabetes like I do. So I have made this web site to show kids how diabetes can be fun. And that it is not the end of the world to have diabetes. I hope you like this web site.

!!!!!NEWS!!!!!

1. Do you want to meet more people who have diabetes. The 
    American Diabetes Association has a site called Planet D which
    is where you can find more about diabetes and meet other 
    kids just like you and me. You can click the Planet D link or go
    on to www.diabetes.org and click for Parents and Kids. It will 
    show a list of things and one of them will say Planet D and 
    you can just click that. I went on it and it's really fun. Check
    it out!!
 
2. For all you people that have a Animas insulin pump there is a 
    HOT PINK one. 

3. There is a One Touch Ultra Mini bloodsugar that comes in 
    hot pink, green, blue and purple!!!!

4. Do not like your medic alert?? Does it look boring?? Well       
   there is a website called www.laurenshope.com! They have all
   these beautiful chains for your medical alert!! 
 
5. Do want to learn more about diabetes?? Well, there is this
    game called Future Focus board game that helps you learn
    more about daibetes. To learn more about you can go to
